The Kailee boot in black patent leather is the most amazing boot I've ever seen/owned! Does run 1/2 size large and thanks to reviews I ordered accordingly. The footbed is nicely padded for comfort. The calf runs "normal". My calves are on the larger side and they fit perfectly! I can't tuck jeans in but with tights/leggings it's fine. The sole is constructed well (rubber for safety) and makes for an interesting if even sensual stride. I wore these yesterday and couldn't help but notice the envious glances these received. They ARE statement boots! The gold hardware is right on too. Very well constructed, very comfortable and very much worth their price!
