FRYE Women's Sandra Buckle Tall Shaft Boot

This particular boot is gorgeous. I wear them tucked in jeans and with skirts to get a dressier, yet, chic look. I have been wearing Frye boots since I was 15, and admire the craftmanship. I still have my first pair.
I also purchase other brands of fine boots, but this particular boot is sexy, fits well, and is true to size. Check out the Carmen, also.
Originally sold for $600. at Nordstroms.

Donald Pliner Women's Johny 76 Boot

Wonderful!!! The minute I opened the box I knew these were perfect. After I confirmed they fit my feet perfectly (size 9), I kissed them. They are love at first sight. The stiching is all quality. They are understated and overtop all at the same time. These are my first real western boots, it's just never been my thing, and they will always be my favorite!! This is western couture at a fraction of the price!!!

Timberland Women's Charles Street Lace Boot

I was wanting this boot for a looong time. I almost bought it from Amazon but instead noticed that a great shoestore right down the street from me had a big boot sale-went in and found them for $75-yep-that's right..only $75!!! I got the size 9 in SMOOTH BLACK-they felt a little snug at first but since they are leather so stretched a lot right away. I wear them all the time instead of my Uggs-I have the classic cardy in black, which you can't really wear on cruddy streets of Chicago. I ride my bike around town alot , so these boots were a great choice and work for my lifestyle!!

Bronx Women's Linus Boot

I am a true 7.5 and I ordered a 37. They fit perfectly so that means they run a tiny bit big. These boots are perfect with skinny jeans and minis. They also give me a little bit of extra height which is always good! Highly recommended, great boots!

Fly London Women's Tack Casual Boot

I've been looking for flat boots to wear over jeans for a while and these seemed perfect. When they arrived, the leather looked great - very rich looking, and the length was perfect (I was looking for something on the longer side). Unfortunately, though I purchased them in my usual size, 7, they were a size or half-size too large. I returned them and have debated trying to get another pair but Amazon is making me pay for return shipping saying that it is my error that they don't fit (I thought they would pay return shipping). I probably won't buy another pair if the return cost is high because I don't want to risk getting the wrong size again. Oh well. Same boots are on endless.com for more money.

Dr. Martens Women's Zena Boot

I bought the white Zena boot not knowing what to expect. I had never owned a boot with the zipper in the front like that and a pointy toe. They seemed a size too big for starters, and I didn't like the way they looked on me at all. As far as style, they reminded me of something my mom wore ages ago and put in the attic. (sorry if that's mean)
I'm a HUGE Dr. Marten fan, but this boot was not for me...I will give them credit for being comfortable, they were.

Timberland Women's Lexiss Street Boot

Based on other's reviews of this boot, I was leery of buying without being able to try them on. What may help others interested in this boot is the following: I am 5'10" and am very athletic (full contact sparring in Tae Kwon Do; other sports). I have 17" calves, wide feet, high instep and a flexible/flat arch. I have had foot surgery (bunionectomy), so I am very careful about the types of shoes I wear.

I have never, ever been able to find a boot that fit my claves. This boot FITS!! The top of the shaft falls about 1.5" below my knee. I wear tights with them and had to work at getting the right boot zipped up the first few wears, but they are fabulous leather and have relaxed a bit (I can even wear sock liners with my tights for extra warmth).

Because I am curvy and athletic, I don't know that I'll ever be able to tuck my jeans into the boots, but I really don't care. They are comfortable, warm, have survived a pretty rugged midwest winter with lots of snow/ice/arctic cold blasts. I wear them with skirts (short or long), dress pants & jeans, fall/winter capri-type pants. If I could sleep in them, I would. If I had a million dollars, I'd buy a pair in every available color. I've searched for a boot like this for at least 3 decades -- These babies totally ROCK! They may not be the classic shiny leather rider's boot, but I certainly feel a little Nancy Sinatra coming on :)
